Fall 7 Times Step Up 8

At first glance, failure may seem to be something really frustrating. Failure has caused a lot of people in this world to stop trying to do what they like to do. Due to failure, they become desperate. They become frustrated. But don't those successful people out there experience failure as well? Is failure really that bad after all?

Well, as a matter of fact, failure is not a bad thing at all, fortunately. This may sound ridiculous but that is the fact. That is why people say failure is just a postponed success instead. In order for people to succeed in life, they will have to go through failure. With failure, they learn what mistakes they should not do anymore later in their life. It is only with failure that success will come to people's way.

One good example is Thomas Alva Edison. Today, everybody in this world knows who he was. In fact, the lighting's that people are able to enjoy in today's modern world are the result of his invention a long time ago. But, behind his success, even such a person as Thomas Alva Edison also experienced failure for a lot of times during his attempts of inventing lights.

At school, his teacher mentioned that he was too stupid to learn even a thing. At his first two jobs, Thomas Alva Edison was fired 2 times. The reason his employers gave him was that he was non productive. And before he eventually succeeded in inventing lights, failure came to him as many as a thousand times. But when people asked him how he felt to fail that many times, he said that those failures he had were not failures at all. Instead, he mentioned that in order to invent a light bulb, it took a thousand steps.

Another good example is Winston Churchill. This man failed at the sixth grade at his school. Also, every single time he took part in public office election, it was a sure thing that he would be defeated. This happened to him all the time until he reached the age of 62 when he finally made it to become a Prime Minister. The good thing was that he did not give up. If only he had given up that time, he would not have become a Prime Minister at all.

Bill Gates may also be one pretty interesting example. He happens to be one of the richest men in this world. But behind his success, there were also failures. Bill Gates got dropped out of the university he attended which was the Harvard University. Who would have guessed that a young man dropped out of a university will become someone whose product is used all over the world? Today, we can see Microsoft Windows operating system almost everywhere as long as there is a computer.

With that being said, it is highly recommended that people do not give up in life just because they have not achieved the success they expect to achieve yet. Just like children who try to stand up and walk again after they fall, when people fall 7 times they should step up 8 times.

Speech On - My Parents

My parents are great. They are fun to be around. My parents are my best friends. They teach me only good things in my life like how to obey elders, how to keep myself and my environment clean.

My Parents helps me to cope up with studies and also in extracurricular activities. My mom helps me to overcome my difficulty in studies whereas my dad guides me to achieve in extracurricular activities.

My parents teach me all good habits. They take me to different places for my vocation. Apart from studies they give me time to play with my friends, participate in sports, join in music, dance classes etc. They get me all what I want like toys, books etc

I obey them whenever I get the chance. When they tell me to clean my room, take out the trash, when they tell me to eat my yam yams and vegetables, I Do it. Because I know my parents tell for my good and so I listen to my parents.

My parents support me in all possible ways. I feel really proud and lucky to get parents like them. Love you Dad and Mom!

Written for my niece, who is in Kindergarten!
